Staying well ahead of the curve in data collection is ERS’s core philosophy. In the past few years, ERS has redesigned its entire infrastructure with the latest VoIP and MPLS technologies in order to collect data more quickly and efficiently, and allow clients unlimited real-time access to their collected data.

Companywide, ERS operates 400 stations utilizing predictive dialer technology from Noble Systems and InVade. The dialers centrally control dialing in all four ERS facilities, creating a virtual call center that can provide more than 1500 hours of interviewing in one night. Additionally, both dialers are fully integrated with the CfMC Survent and SPSS Quancept software packages. This state-of-the-art technology and dialer redundancy allow ERS to complete even the largest overnight or one-day survey without interruption.

Clients have real-time access to their data and reports through a secure web portal. Quota, topline and sample disposition reports are all available as standard reports. In addition, custom reports can be developed as needed. The immediate access to survey data is a measurable benefit to clients, allowing for rapid response and quick decision-making.

All 400 ERS interview stations are internet equipped which enables the interviewer to access a client’s web survey or connect to the client’s host computer for consolidated data collection across multiple service providers. In these cases, the interview data resides on the client’s server and they retain complete control over sample and quota management. This is also useful for job share studies where the client needs to supplement the interviewing hours they are internally able to produce. By working from their server, the data is seamlessly integrated without need for splitting sample or quotas or merging data files.

With any survey, ERS can integrate audio clips to be played directly to the respondents. In addition, ERS can capture partial or complete interviews in a digital recording format, allowing clients direct access to raw data, open ends, and the like.

ERS’s automated broadcast message capability includes fully automated interactive voice response, allowing for quick, automated capture of a high volume of respondents’ data.
